Alpaca Walk
Walk with the Alpacas: A Unique Experience
April en mei zijn dé ideale maanden om samen met onze alpaca’s op pad te gaan. Daarom organiseren wij onze alpaca-wandelingen uitsluitend in deze periode.
Enjoy a Walk with Alpacas between Dunes and Polders
Join us on a fun walk with alpacas! After a delicious welcome drink and snack, we head out into nature together with the alpacas. We walk through the beautiful, primal Dutch polder landscape, with the dunes in the background and colorful bulb fields in spring, towards the mill. This alpaca outing offers breathtaking views, perfect for great photos! During the walk we will share interesting facts about the alpacas, and you will have plenty of time to feed and pet them. The alpacas are already eager to go on a walk with you. Walking with alpacas is a unique experience you don't want to miss!
Note: The walk will continue with a group of at least 12 people.
Note: In case of bad weather, the activity will be converted to a Feed & Greet. Since this one is cheaper, you will receive a partial refund from us.
Come to our alpaca farm and experience an unforgettable day with our sweet alpacas. Walking with alpacas in the Netherlands is a perfect way to relax and enjoy nature. This outing is ideal for groups of friends, families and company outings!

Important info, rules and helpful tips
Safety First: Enter at your own risk
While we make every effort to make your visit as safe as possible, entering Alpaca Eco Farm is at your own risk. We ask you to exercise caution, follow the rules, and be respectful of our animals and environment. That way, together, we can ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone!
Dogs not allowed
Age Rules
To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, there are some age-appropriate rules for the alpaca walk. The hike is not suitable for young children due to its duration and the sometimes difficult, unpaved terrain. Baby carriages unfortunately cannot be included. For young children, we recommend the Feed & Greet as a better alternative.
If you do decide to bring a child, the following rules apply:
- Children up to 2 years of age:
Free participation. Please mention the child during registration under "Add Comment". - Children up to age 13:
Children under 13 must always be accompanied by a paying adult who has also registered for the activity.
Safety measure: No umbrellas during the walk
For the safety of both you and the alpacas, you are not permitted to hold an umbrella while holding an alpaca on a leash. Umbrellas can make unexpected movements and startle the alpacas, so we recommend wearing a waterproof jacket or poncho when it rains.
Clothing Advice
The high tea takes place in our cozy (heated) garden room/serre.
In sunny weather, we recommend wearing sunglasses or cap/hat and applying sunscreen to yourself.
On colder days, warm clothing is recommended. Although the garden room is heated, it can still feel a bit chilly in the winter months.
We recommend wearing clothes and shoes that are allowed to get dirty. Slippers or open footwear are not recommended because the alpacas may accidentally step on your foot. Their calluses are similar to a dog's, but their nails can be sharp.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel the activity free of charge up to 72 hours in advance. Cancellations must be made by phone. Cancellations within one week before the activity must also be made by phone.
Not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs
Please note that our alpaca walk is unfortunately not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The trails are unpaved and can be difficult to negotiate, making the route less accessible for these modes of transportation. We recommend including this in your plans when booking the hike.
