Are there no or insufficient places available on the desired date? We also have a waiting list. You can send an e-mail with your name, phone number, desired date(s) and activity(ies) and number of people. In case of cancellation, we will contact you.
You cannot reply to the automatic confirmation e-mail. This is a 'no-reply mail'. Fill in the contact form on our website or send an email to [email protected] and we will answer your question a.s.a.p.
We don't offer special program for children's parties. What does get booked a lot for children's parties is the (sweet) feed & Greet. You can send us an e-mail for more information.
We do not have special children's rates. Children up to 2 years old can come along for free.
At the walk, children up to 3 years of age may join for free.
Alpacas are very hygienic animals, unlike sheep, for example. For this reason, zoonoses are virtually non-existent among alpacas and it is safe for pregnant women to visit our farm. However, it is not recommended to get close to a newborn foal. A newborn foal can carry quite a few bacteria. Should you visit the farm between May and August and you are pregnant; please ask our staff upon arrival if there is a newborn foal. Then we will make sure you can stay at an appropriate distance.
The feed & greet, dinner soup and high tea take place in the greenhouse, so these activities will also take place in bad weather.
The walk cannot take place in bad weather. We will then contact you by phone to discuss options.
In case of a storm, all activities must be cancelled. It can be very windy here and the safety of our animals and visitors is paramount.
We do not organise private high tea, feed & greet , dinner soup and walk for small groups. Small groups can join regular activities.
At this time, it is not possible to make reservations for a private group. However, you can rent the activity. Furthermore, it is also possible to join a normal activity. You need to book this yourself through the website. For further questions, please contact us using the form below.
We do not offer combinations. The reason is that we have 1 herd participating in the activities. After each activity, the alpacas need some time to rest and we need time to prepare the next activity.
Moreover, in all activities you get plenty of time to spend with the alpacas and you get to feed them, pet them and take photos. So, plenty of quality time with the alpacas!
We have no alcohol licence, so unfortunately, we cannot offer a high wine.
We try to take the allergies and dietary requirements of our visitors into account as much as possible. A gluten-free, lactose-free and/or vegetarian high tea is no problem.
Unfortunately, we do not offer a vegan high tea.
When booking via the website, you can indicate any allergies and/or dietary requirements in the comments field. If in doubt, please contact us.
We can be reached by public transportation. From Alkmaar central station, you can take the bus towards Egmond aan Zee. You have to get off at the 'Klompenhoeve' stop.
