The high tea, (nacho’s) feed and greet and Fry-day are wheelchair accessible. However, we do not have a disabled toilet.

Are there no or insufficient spots available on the desired date? We also have a reserve list. Go to the ‘reserve’ page and scroll down. Here you can fill in the form with your name, email address, phone number, number of people, desired date and activity(s). In case of a cancellation, we will contact you.

The reserve list is only used for cancellations from one day in advance. For other days, you can check the website yourself to see if any places have become available.

You cannot reply to the automatic confirmation e-mail. This is a 'no-reply mail'. Fill in the contact form on our website or send an email to info@alpaca-ecofarm.nl and we will answer your question a.s.a.p.

We don't offer special program for children's parties. What does get booked a lot for children's parties is the (nachos) feed & Greet. You can send us an e-mail for more information.

We have no special children's rates.

At the Feed and Greet & Nacho's Feed and Greet, children up to 12 months of age may join for free.
At the walk, children up to 2 years of age may join for free.
At the other activities, children up to 2 years of age may join for free.

The activities we recommend for children are the Feed and Greet & Nacho's Feed and Greet.

Alpacas are very hygienic animals, unlike sheep, for example. For this reason, zoonoses are virtually non-existent among alpacas and it is safe for pregnant women to visit our farm. However, it is not recommended to get close to a newborn foal. A newborn foal can carry quite a few bacteria. Should you visit the farm between May and August and you are pregnant; please ask our staff upon arrival if there is a newborn foal. Then we will make sure you can stay at an appropriate distance. 

The high tea, (nachos) feed & greet and fry-day take place in the greenhouse, so these activities will also take place in bad weather.

The walk cannot take place in bad weather. We will then contact you by phone to discuss options.

In case of a storm, all activities must be cancelled. It can be very windy here and the safety of our animals and visitors is paramount.

We do not organise private high tea, (nachos) feed & greet , fry-day and walk for small groups. Small groups can join regular activities.

At this time, it is not possible to make reservations for a private group. However, you can rent the activity. Furthermore, it is also possible to join a normal activity. You need to book this yourself through the website. For further questions, please contact us using the form below.

We do not offer combinations of activities. However, if there is enough space, it is possible to book 2 activities on the same day. In that case, please note that there is always time between the activities so that we can prepare everything. It is not possible to stay at our farm between activities.

We have no alcohol licence, so unfortunately, we cannot offer a high wine.

We try to take the allergies and dietary requirements of our visitors into account as much as possible. A gluten-free, lactose-free and/or vegetarian high tea is no problem.

Unfortunately, we do not offer a vegan high tea.

When booking via the website, you can indicate any allergies and/or dietary requirements in the comments field. If in doubt, please contact us.

We can be reached by public transportation. From Alkmaar central station, you can take the bus towards Egmond aan Zee. You have to get off at the 'Klompenhoeve' stop.

We currently do not have a web shop but you are always welcome to visit our store. For opening hours, please call us in advance as they vary from day to day. 

You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before the activity. Within one week in advance cancellation must be made by phone

As long as the alpacas are comfortable on the ground, they stay inside. If the alpacas walk around very busy during the serving of food, we let them outside for safety. If all alpacas stand near the door, we also let them out, as alpacas are toilet trained and do not defecate in the greenhouse.
